Hand paint collaboration with Black Daze, 16x20
I love collaborating with other artists because it forces me to think differently and find ways to merge my style with someone else's vision. It's one of the best ways I've found to grow as an artist.
For these pieces, I freehand sketched the designs first, which is why they're a little wild and weird. You can still see the yellow sketch lines underneath the paint. I've always been the type of artist who plans everything out to keep my work clean, but I've always admired artists who can just draw straight off the dome. This felt like a chance to lean into that process and let the sketches stay alive in the finished piece.
