MY ROLE 3D MODELER/DESIGNER
AGENCY SELF INITIATED PROJECT
Over the years, I’ve designed several vinyl toys, starting with Puck – the Little Painter.
In 2019, I had the opportunity to learn basic 3D modeling from a coworker. As an illustrator and character designer, I was thrilled to take on the challenge of bringing my signature dokkaebi goblin character to life. Dokkaebi, mischievous goblins from Korean folklore known for their playful pranks on humans, inspire my work. My illustrations offer a modern interpretation of these creatures, and I aimed to capture that same spirit in the 3D model.
Although I designed several versions of my dokkaebi (see 3D characters), Puck - Little Painter was ultimately the model that became my first vinyl toy. The name is a reference to the fairy in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream who, like the dokkaebi, is known for being mischievous. I was very fortunate to partner with Strange Cat Toys and together we have created a number of variations of Puck.
PUCK - THE LITTLE PAINTER
BEST FRIENDS
Inspired by our Calvin and Hobbes sticker collaboration, Chris RWK and I produced a vinyl toy with Strange Cat Toys. Best Friends is a resin toy that stands 7” tall and 8” long. We produced a very limited run of 200pcs.
ZEN GOBLIN
My first collaboration with Maryland based artist 5thTurtle. I designed 3D molded the character in Nomad Sculpt and he brought it to life. For this toy we wanted it to feel like a jade figure. Each one was hand made and therefore slightly unique. They were released at Five Points Fest 2023 in New York. Each one of these toys stands 4” tall and was limited to 18pcs.

DRUNK PUNK
My second collaboration with Maryland based artist 5thTurtle. They were again released at Five Points Fest, 2025 in New York. Each one of these toys stands 4” tall and was limited to 15pcs.
THRASHER GOBLIN
Our second round of toys introduced this skater dokkaebi. Each one of these vinyl toys stands 8” tall, comes with a unique sticker pack to customize their skate decks and was limited tof 100pcs.

SAD GOBLIN
This was my submission for 7sketches’ “Project Panda - A Sad Panda Custom Gallery Show” in 2024. Artists were given 7sketches’ classic Sad Panda vinyl figure to customize. This project was my first time sculpting by hand.
