In Q4 2019, YouTube Kids began rolling out content across its social media channels. At Hook, my team and I started with a comprehensive audit of the YouTube Kids website launch materials to identify elements that could be adapted effectively for a social audience. We evaluated the creative assets and their placements in relation to varying levels of audience brand awareness. The following is a selection of delivered assets and proposed creative concepts that I produced as part of this initiative.

Anti-Bullying campaign - Born this Way
Hook was commissioned to create visual assets for the YouTube Kids Anti-Bullying Panel, part of their initiative for National Bullying Prevention Month. The panel featured several YouTube Kids creators alongside the Director of Programs from the Born This Way Foundation. Our team designed a suite of materials, including event invitations, social media graphics, presentation slides, and an email banner.

Together Time Campaign
In winter 2020, YouTube Kids launched a campaign centered around the theme of togetherness. As part of this initiative, we developed creative assets for their Influencer Kits. The materials needed to incorporate YouTube Kids characters while honoring the brand’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. To reflect this, the designs embraced a general “holiday” theme without referencing any specific tradition or celebration.
